Medvedev deleted his Twitter post implying Crimea is not part of Russia. PHOTOS

As reported by Censor.NET citing Liga, Medvedev subsequently deleted his Twitter post, which is still available in Google cash.

The head of the Russian government posted a photograph of the Kerch bridge being constructed and a text in Russian, reading: "The Crimean bridge will connect the peninsula with Russia, and Crimea will finally be ours."

After the initial post was deleted, another one with corrected text was posted: "The Crimean bridge will connect the peninsula with the rest of the country."

Earlier, Sept. 15, Russian President Putin and PM Medvedev arrived in Kerch on the occupied peninsula for a meeting of the Russian State Council on transport matters.
