Russian invader Artur Bagavov exposes Russia’s 7th military base soldiers on ‘Ukrainian tour of duty’. PHOTOS
Censor.NET reports citing the open source investigation carried out by the activists of the InformNapalm international volunteer community.
InformNapalm investigators found an interesting picture posted on the page of a certain Artur Arsenov back in October 2014. The image showed two soldiers sitting atop a speeding BTR-80 armored personnel carrier with a load attached to its hull. The comment to the photo reads: heading for Ukr
According to the investigators, the image author's page was scrutinized which allowed to identify him and track his background as he turned out to be a member of the Russian Armed Forces.
Artur Bagavov
Bagavov was born on Dec. 22, 1990. His parents live in Kislovodsk, the Stavropol Territory.
Bagavov's pages in social media: VK (archives of the social graph, photo album, contacts), page on Odnoklassniki with limited access, page on Odnoklassniki abandoned in 2008.
Based on the analysis of the pictures posted by Bagavov and a number of comments to them, he was a member of the battalion task force of the 7th military base deployed at Ashuluk military training area in the Astrakhan oblast since late spring 2014. This combined unit was first redeployed to the Rostov oblast and later to Ukraine.
Bagavov quit the army in late September or early October 2014. He most likely terminated the contract out of fear of being sent to the Donbas on another "tour of duty". InformNapalm previously published a lot of articles about high personnel turnover and mass termination of contracts at the 7th occupation base of the Russian Armed Forces.
Having found no job after nearly two years of civil life and obviously filling nostalgic for the army, Bagavov re-signed service contract with the Russian Defense Ministry. But this time he intended to serve as far away from Ukraine as possible.
The 7th occupation base is reportedly one of the most belligerent units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation which atrocities have been exposed by InformNapalm in 28 open source investigations and other articles.
