"Kadyrov to The Hague": Ten LGBT activists detained in Saint Petersburg. PHOTOS

About a dozen of LGBT activists were detained at Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg on May 1.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Fontanka news outlet.

During a May 1 demonstration, LGBT activists raised a rainbow flag and started chanting "Kadyrov to The Hague."

Kadyrov is an ill-famed Chechnya leader who has been recently allegedly involved in persecution of gays in Chechnya.

Fontanka reported that the activists held a protest at Nevsky Prospect: they laid down on the road and demonstrated "death" as one of them was dusting them with ground.
