Explosion occurred outside National Corps’ office in Kyiv. PHOTOS+VIDEO
The blast took place at Zoi Haidai Street in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district last night.
Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the National Police Communications Department."The Obolonskyi police precinct received information about damage inflicted to a metal fence near the high-rise building at Zoia Haidai Street and its wall. The crime scene team and bomb squad shortly arrived on site. The law enforcers found blast traces caused by an unidentified explosive device," the statement reads.
As noted, the explosion damaged the metal fence and scorched the wall on the first floor of the house. According to law enforcers, the explosion occurred around 4 a.m. No casualties reported as a result of the incident.
The press service of the National Corps said: "Unknown individuals threw an explosive device into the courtyard of the National Corps ' main office last night. The explosion occurred at around 3 a.m. The same office was rigged with explosives a week ago. The explosive device was later defused."
