A name of another fighter killed in combat in the east of Ukraine on June 7 has been released.

Sports Minister Ihor Zhdanov announced on Facebook that Taras Bilotskyi, prominent karate fighter, master of sports, was killed in the Luhansk region on June 7, Censor.NET reports.

"Another Ukrainian athlete gave his life in fighting for Ukraine. Our sincere condolences go to family of Taras Bilotskyi, master of sports in karate, who was killed in ATO area.

"He was drafted to the Armed Forces and served from March 2015 till April 2016. From July 31, 2015 until Nov. 28, 2015 he participated in the ATO in the Donetsk and Luhansk region.

"... He has been serving as a contract soldier in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since Oct. 11, 2016. On June 7 Taras was killed in shelling in the Luhansk region. Eternal glory to the Hero!" Zhdanov wrote.

Taras Bilotskyi will be buried in Kyiv.
