Sources say the explosion occurred at around 7 p.m. June 27 in Illinivka village, Kostiantynivka district, the Donetsk region.
An Opel Vectra exploded at a parking lot near a pond.


The victims were delivered to Kostiantynivka city hospital, and later to Dnipro City.
The reasons behind the accident are being investigated. Law enforcers say the explosive device might have been set inside the vehicle.
The case is investigated by military prosecutor's office.

The blast killed special reserves head of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Department (HUR) Colonel Maksym Shapoval and wounded two more people.
