Group of MPs blocks Rada rostrum: bills considered amid noise and shouts. PHOTOS+VIDEO

Some MPs, among them members of Samopomich and Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) faction, and independent, have blocked the rostrum and are demanding consideration of lifting immunity in general and of Opposition Bloc MP Mykhailo Dobkin in particular.

The MPs who are blocking the rostrum demand that the issue of lifting immunity of MP Dobkin was put on voting, together with the bill of simplifying the procedure of indictment of people's deputies. They also demand to consider the draft bill on Anti-corruption Court creation.

The protesters use a loudspeaker to voice their demands. Among those who spoke are Samopomich MP Yehor Soboliev, PPB MP Mustafa Nayyem, and independent MP Viktor Chumak.

Deputy Speaker Iryna Herashchenko is trying to continue the session despite the noise. When this report was prepared, the MPs were considering a bill on Constitution Court and amendments to it.
