There is video in disposal of the Channel 5 where Evgen Davydov and Nikita Konashenkov apologize to the people of Ukraine for outright lies of the Russian media, Censor.NET reports
Davydov and Konashenkov approved that almost all the information they released while working in the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk was fiction.

The prepared texts were sent to them from the office in Moscow. It was these two persons who spread the information that the Ukrainian Army allegedly used phosphorus bombs near Sloviansk and Grad missile systems against civilians.
Among other things, the journalist said: "The channel authorities in Moscow provided the themes for my reports. Among them was that of the phosphorous bombs, which I have not personally seen. I constantly witnessed the facts of mismatch of the reality and the situation that Russian TV depicted. We apologize to the people of Ukraine in this regard"
As reported, Evgen Davydov and Nikita Konashenkov were detained by the Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk. They were handed to Russian diplomatic officials after the conversation.
