Filatov: 5 Ukrainian Servicemen and an Activist were Released from Terrorists’ Captivity. VIDEO

Negotiating Group released another six men on Tuesday who were captured by the insurgents in the area of anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.

Head of the negotiating group Colonel-General Volodymyr Ruban said this at a press conference on Wednesday, Ukrainian Pravda wrote.

"We managed to release Oleksander Dobylev the activist from Luhansk, Ihor Leschitin from the 31st volunteers hundred of Ivano-Frankivsk, Artur Pardavian and Taras Patun from Battalion Temur of Luhansk region and Anatolii Holovchenko from Battalion Aydar of Poltava from captivity yesterday," Deputy Chairman of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Boris Filatov said at a press conference without specifying the name of the sixth releasee.

He also noted that one of the six prisoners was managed to be released only in exchange for guarantees that he will not testify against the DPR militants.


"They all were imprisoned for the period from 2 weeks to 1.5 months being physically and mentally tortured," Filatov said.

According to Ruban, negotiating group plans to visit Horlivka in the Donetsk region to discuss the conditions of release of the captured Swedish citizen.

They will also try to release about 40 soldiers being kept in different terrorists' detachments in Donetsk.

The number of soldiers, civilians, Maidan activists held captive in illegal armed formations is ranging from 300 to 400 people according to Ruban.
