The entrance to the Kyiv-based NewsOne TV channel was blocked by sandbags and barbed wire brought by unidentified masked individuals in military uniforms who made a stand against the channel’s editorial policy.
Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the TV channel’s editorial office.
NewsOne TV channel is owned by MP Yevhen Muraiev who uses it to promote Za Zhyttia party he runs. Muraiev earlier called the Revolution of Dignity a coup d'état on air of the NewsOne TV channel.
"A truck full of bags with uncknown content parked outside the TV channel's headquarters. The people who call themselves activists refuse to give comments and do not say why the entrance and exit to the TV channel have been blocked by the barbed wire. These unidentified individuals are dressed in military uniforms. The journalists request the law enforcement not to leave the incident without attention," the statement reads.
