Troops of Russian Federation will try to attack from North and will look at result - Butusov on threat of second offensive. VIDEO
A new offensive of Russian troops from Belarus to Ukraine is quite likely. The invaders may try to attack from the North and will watch the result.
This was stated by the editor-in-chief of Censor.NET Yurii Butusov, commenting on the words of Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhny regarding the preparation of the Russian Federation for a new offensive against Ukraine.
"This is one of the scenarios, they will try to attack from the North and look at the result. Now to say that they will attack Kyiv, they will try, check, but not only Kyiv will be under attack, but also Kharkiv and other cities, and in Volyn, if they also involve Belarus in the war, they will also try to advance. The enemy will do what it takes to wrest, destroy Ukraine, destroy, above all, the army, our largest administrative centers, capture as many territories as possible," Butusov is confident.
I don't think that now it is about the capture of Kyiv, just about a big offensive from the North," the journalist adds.
He reminds that on December 19, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to Belarus.
"His main goal is to persuade and force Lukashenka to join the war. The Belarusian army is preparing very intensively for this...
These are very dangerous signals and we must understand that Belarus can enter the war at any moment. I do not think that they have the opportunity to reach Kyiv. Their goal is to bind as many of our troops as possible," Butusov summarizes.
