Polish President Andrzej Duda considers Pereiaslav a city where it would be symbolic to sign Russia’s capitulation.

As Censor.NET reports, Duda said that he discussed such an idea with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Considering our history, the way our paths once diverged, I am begging you, when you defeat Russia, when the Russians crawl on their knees to ask for peace, take them to Pereiaslav. Let them sign peace with you there. Let them cross out with this all the years of Russian and Soviet influence and slavery from tsarist times," Duda recounted the conversation with Zelensky.
