Marine Mykola has been defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders for seven years. He went to war when he turned 18. In 2017, he was wounded in Donetsk region, and after recovery he returned to the army.
As Censor.NET reports, Mykola spoke about his war in an exclusive interview with the Butusov Plus channel.
"On the 24th, we were told that our positions would be shelled from the Hrad. We were fired at for two or three hours - the Hrad, artillery, tanks. It was scary. We were ordered to withdraw to more advantageous positions. Only after the shelling did we realize what had started a full-scale invasion. I couldn't believe it. They thought it was a fake... There were losses... Losses that I really wanted to avenge... My wife was in the occupied territory for more than six months. While she was under occupation, she was correcting the Hihmars. For her aid, the S-300 battery was destroyed. She found out the location of enemy equipment, and I passed it on to people competent in this matter. Sometimes I think that my wife has done more during this time than I did during my military service since 2016," says the marine .
