They advised to drive around minefields from side, - military told about uninformed German instructors who trained Leopard tank crews. VIDEO

According to Censor.NET, one of the tankers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told this in an interview with WELT.

This advice was probably given because the Bundeswehr perceives a minefield to be an area of 100x200 metres, which can be easily driven around. The fact that in reality, Russians mine entire hectares and actively use remote mining is simply not known to the German military.

Moreover, these are the instructors who are supposed to know all the Bundeswehr's internal guidelines. This means that this is how other tankers in the German armed forces, and quite possibly all tankers in the Alliance, are trained.
