Every Ukrainian citizen should join army, - company 80th ODSHBr commander Shevchuk. VIDEO

Vladyslav Shevchuk, a company commander of the 80th Air Assault Brigade, believes that Ukraine should conduct a larger-scale mobilization.

He said this during an interview, Censor.NET reports.

"There are not enough people. I'm telling you frankly, there are not enough! Soldiers are running out every day. And those who think that they can sit somewhere in the rear, wait for the war to end, and then come out and tell us that they helped the economic front by buying coffee and cigarettes, will not get away with it. There are not enough people because we have a full-scale war, but for some reason, the mobilization is not large-scale. Everyone who calls himself or herself a Ukrainian citizen, including women, should join the army, join these ranks, and defend their country," Shevchuk said.

"You can't sit still," he adds.

He also expressed confidence that the government would soon announce an increase in mobilization, as this is essential to defeat the enemy.

"I see nothing wrong with military commissariats and representatives of the TCC going around and catching those who have to fulfill their constitutional duty by the hand," Shevchuk said.

"We do not want to protect the evaders. There are those who can, and they will succeed," the company commander concludes.
