Flag of Russian Federation on Avdiivka Spoil tip is PR campaign. There are no positions of occupiers there, - Butusov. VIDEO
The importance of the Avdiivka spoil tip for the city’s defence is greatly exaggerated.
Censor.NET editor-in-chief Yuriш Butusov said this in an interview with Channel 5.
"Our troops control their positions in this area, we occupy the dominant heights and this Spoil tip, it could have some tactical significance if the enemy took the approaches to it, but our defenders securely hold them, the enemy continues to attack here, they are all repelled," he assures.
According to Butusov, the only thing the enemy was able to do on the spoil heap was to plant a flag. In turn, Russian channels call it a victory.
"In fact, this is just a PR campaign. The enemy cannot occupy the spoil tip, they are not on the spoil tip," the journalist adds.
According to him, the enemy troops planted a flag at night to demonstrate some kind of success. He also noted that the occupiers, despite massive assaults, are in the lowlands and cannot occupy the dominant heights.
