The head of the Kharkiv Military Regional Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, released information about the victims of the shelling of Kharkiv on the evening of 10 January 2024.
According to Censor.NET, he said this in a telegram.
Syniehubov noted: "According to preliminary data, six people were injured as a result of the enemy strike. The medics are providing all necessary assistance."
He later added: "The number of victims has risen to nine."
Mayor Igor Terekhov said: "The strike hit a civilian facility. There is a high probability of casualties among the people inside. Cars are burning in the car park next to the facility, and there is preliminary damage to the building. All relevant services have already arrived there."
Later, Syniehubov added: "At the moment, there are 10 victims. One person is in serious condition, one was injured and is in moderate condition, the rest are in light condition. Among the injured there are journalists of a Turkish publication who were staying at the hotel. The response is ongoing, and rescuers continue to extinguish the fire.
