Russian invaders attacked southern Ukraine with "shaheds". A hit was recorded, there are casualties
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Southern Defense Forces.
The main enemy attack was directed at Odesa.
"There was a pause of up to 15 minutes between air raid warnings. And the combat work was carried out in conditions of heavy attacks by several drones simultaneously. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 11 kamikaze drones: 10 in Odesa region and 1 in Mykolaiv region.
The enemy used already tested tactical tricks - they entered from the sea at low altitudes and resorted to complex maneuvers," the statement said.
It is noted that the downed drones flew to residential areas on an inertial trajectory, one of them hit a partially inhabited multi-storey building in the Khadzhybei district of Odesa. A fire broke out, one person was burned, and several apartments were damaged.
Another drone struck by the attack pierced the roof of a two-story residential building in the city's Primorskyi district. Another UAV fell in the same residential neighborhood, near an apartment building damaged in a previous attack. The blast wave caused a lot of damage to the windows of the surrounding buildings, a car parked in the yard was burnt to ashes, and several others were injured.
As a result of the nighttime attacks by the "Shahed", 6 people were injured. Rescuers unblocked one of the victims from the rubble.
"Unfortunately, we could not avoid being hit. The enemy hit the warehouse of a furniture plant in the industrial district of Odesa. A massive fire broke out due to a large amount of inflammable substances," the Southern Defense Forces said.
