Yatsenyuk to Western allies: Either we are together and can win, or criminals like Putin will take over world. VIDEO
Arsenii Yatsenyuk called on his Western friends and partners to repeat the example of unity that was in the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
This was stated by the chairman of the KSF (Kyiv Security Forum), Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2014-2016, in an interview with Stephen Sackur in the HARDTalk program on the BBC, Censor.NET reports.
"The partners have done a lot in these two years. There was unprecedented unity, and a huge amount of military and financial support was provided to the Ukrainian people. But what do I see today? I see dysfunctional democracy in a number of Western partners," he emphasized.
Putin and the whole axis of evil represented by Russia, Iran, North Korea and China behind the scenes are watching this closely, the head of the KSF emphasized.
"So the Western world has to make a decision: either we are together and can win this righteous struggle for democracy and freedom in the world, for the preservation of the world order, or war criminals like Putin will win and take over the world," he said.
"If you try to avoid escalation, at best you can postpone escalation. But eventually you will face a full-scale war. Therefore, it is better not to avoid escalation, but to fight. Not to give tyrants any chance to blow up this world. And I believe that the United States understands this," Arsenii Yatsenyuk stressed.
