World's largest aircraft Mriya successfully returns to Ukraine. VIDEO
As reported by Censor.NET citing Segodnya.ua, the landing was successful. Dozens of journalists gathered at the airfield to watch the return of the cargo plane from Australia.
The airplane's long-term flight started May 10. It departed from Kyiv-Antonov airport to Prague, fetched a 130-ton power generator there and delivered it to Australia.
According to Oleksandr Halunenko, a test pilot who first got An-225 off the ground, those who wanted to watch landing of Mriya in Australia were even charged admission fee.
