Servicemen of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a group of local residents in Odesa suspected of plotting terrorist attacks, acts of sabotage, and provocations.
Censor.NET reports citing the SBU press service."Secret service operatives together with Alfa unit have detained a group of local residents in Odesa who are reasonably suspected of plotting terrorist attacks, acts of sabotage, and provocations. Urgent operative and investigative activities are underway," the report reads.
It is reported that Odesa law enforcement agencies operate in full interoperability and will not allow destabilizing the situation in the region.
Odesa is mourning the death of 48 protesters, both pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian, on May 2, 2014. The order is guarded by 3,000 law enforcers, no provocations or clashes have been reported. Four people with Russian military ribbons have been detained.
