The system was previously tested by Ukroboronprom with participation of the military.

More than 50 missiles for Korsar system have been produced and delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Korsar is able to fire in 2.5 km range (similar to the U.S. FGM-148 Javelin), and the missile acquires the target by means of a laser beam.

The major benefit of Korsar system is its size, which allows carrying it and firing "off-shoulder," without additional devices.

Two types of guided missiles have been developed to be used with Korsar system.
