Продовжуємо розмови з українськими захисниками в межах фестивалю "Мотанка", що відбувається у Кальбе в Німеччині(мистецький Проєкт «Віра, Надія, Любов та…»).

Розмірковуємо на тему звуків: якими звуками чи звуком, чи, може, тишею сповнені Віра, Надія, Любов, Мудрість (Софія) та Перемога (Вікторія). Ці явища відповідають популярним в Україні жіночим іменам. І так називаються й мої картини із зображеннями мотанок, які здавна захищали українців та оберігали від усього зла.

З народним героєм України, капеланом отцем Іван Ісаєвичем говоримо про "звук віри":

- Як Ваші справи, де ви є і які новини із фронту?

- Зараз мої справи дуже добре. Слава Ісусі Христу. З Херсонщини (з села Українки) їду в бік Закарпаття. Їду на два тижні додому. Справи добрі, важкі. Війна йде, вона нікуди не зникла.

- Вона зникне, коли настане наша перемога.

- Так. На превеликий жаль зло панує і навіть дивлячись, коли зло починає бачити, що воно не може перемогти добро, воно починає кидатися на всі боки і знищувати все, що є навколо добра або в добрі. І ці симптоми ми зараз спостерігаємо (столицею України прокотилася нова хвиля ракетних ударів, а також бомбардувань з використанням іранських дронів-камікадзе). А так нічого більшого не планую. Час проведу з парафіянами, з дітьми-сиротами свого будинку сиріт у селі Королево (на Закарпатті, на заході України).

- Скільки у Вас там зараз дітей?

- Наших там 21, але ще ми маємо переселенців, з тих, що я позабирав від військових, зараз маю також дітей, батьки яких загинули й поки не впорядкуються документи, я забрав їх до свого будинку. Вони є під гарним наглядом, у теплі. Але батьківську любов буде важко їм дарувати тому, що це найскладніше, що може бути.

- А що замовили Вам військові? Напевне, одяг на зиму, щось перевзутись, переодягнутись? З літнього сезону у зимовий?

- З харчів нічого їм не треба, у них все є, Богу дякувати. Та тільки теплий одяг та прилади нічного бачення, тепловізори. Все.

Але найбільше просять молитву, найбільше просять поради. Тому часто, коли повертаюсь, беру із собою малюнки, що малюють діти, й це, часом, більше зігріває, ніж той спальник. Але, все ж таки, коли приходять вечір, то треба й тепло одягнутися.

- Дякую, Вам за це і що поділилися. Перейдемо до нашої наступної теми – теми звуків. Які звуки у віри, з яким звуком асоціюється, чим наповнена у плані звучання, на Вашу думку?

Звучання... ми завжди думаємо, що це дзвони, правда?

- Або молитва... Я взагалі думала, що це тиша або тиха подяка. Але я не хочу нав'язувати свою думку Вам, бо цікава саме Ваша думка.

- Моя думка... це биття серця... Звук можна різний давати, але коли ми кажемо "звук", Господь живе в тиші. Він взагалі полюбляє таку тишу, хоч коли ми читаємо у Книзі Буття сказано, що був хаос і в хаосі творилося, але все ж таки він гуляв такою прохолодою денною і чути було такий ш-ш-ш-шепіт...

Ми мусимо задати собі питання, а що таке віра. А потім будемо розуміти. Але щоб відчути Господа через цю віру, треба відчути серцем.

Не храмом, не дзвоном. Це додатки. Не сурмами труби, ні барабанами, ні цимбалами, але серцем. А серце чує, коли не тільки любить, навіть коли може закрастися туди помста або гнів якийсь. Серце воно відчуває і коли там є присутність Божа, то це така тиша, яка розриває темряву. Це моя думка. Звук віри – це биття серця. Це життя. Коли людина живе, коли людина слухається свого серця, вона зберігає віру. Йдеться про віру в Бога. Я думаю, що тут Ви це і питаєте про віру в Бога. І коли ми звернемося до серця, ми почуємо чи ми віримо в правду, чи ми просто пристосовуємося.

Тому багато людей, що виходять з полону чи, що були на лінії розмежування і вони боролися, багато цих людей кажуть: "Я відремонтуюся, тобто підлікуюся і я йду туди, я йду продовжувати захист!"

- Як кажуть, за покликом серця, так?

- Так. Тому що вони не жадобу помсти мають, вони відчули свою потрібність, що Бог, правда, присутній у доброму серці. А серце, як Сковорода наш говорить, серце настільки воно глибоке, що у цій тиші через віру можна знайти дорогу... від перемоги – до спокою. А це вже трохи важче, треба задуматися. Це глибина. Так що вона звучить так, як звучить биття серця. Звук віри – биття серця... Для мене це не є гомін пташок, радість дітей – це життя, а от биття серця, коли я чую – я знаю, що я живу, я знаю, що я живу – бо я вірю, що я живу і я вірю – бо я знаю, що я живу. І воно такий звук дає гарний, так мене відштовхує.

We continue our video talks with Ukrainian defenders within the frame of the Motanka festival held in Kalbe, Germany.

We are discussing the topic of sounds: what sound or sounds or perhaps silence are Faith, Hope, Love, Wisdom (Sophia), and Victory are filled with. These moral value names are common among Ukrainians as female names. And they also give names to my paintings of motankas, the latter being traditional amulets defending Ukrainians and protecting them from any kind of evil.

- How are you there and what is the news?

- Now, things are going well, thanks to Jesus Christ. I am on my way from Kherson region (village of Ukrainka) to Zakarpattia. I am going home for two weeks. Things are going well but difficult. The war is still on; it has not disappeared.

- It will disappear when we gain Victory.

- Right. Unfortunately, evil reigns and when it sees that it cannot win over good, it starts making all efforts to destroy everything that is around good and or is in good. We see these symptoms now (recently we saw a new series of missile attacks and bombardments by Iranian kamikaze drones in the capital of Ukraine). I do not make any further plans. I will spend some time with my parishioners, orphaned children of my orphanage in the village of Korolevo (Zakarpattia, west of Ukraine).

- How many children do you have now?

- We have 21 local children, but we have also housed displaced children I received from the military, so now I have children whose parents were killed, and while their documents are being processed, I placed them at my orphanage. They have good care and live in the warmth. But to give them fatherly love would be difficult, it’s the most difficult thing to do.

- And what did the servicemen ask for you to bring? Perhaps, winter clothes, some kind of boots, clothes for a change? To change from summer to winter uniform?

- No need in food, they have everything, thank God. What is needed is warm clothes and night vision devices, thermal imagers. That’s it.

And most of all they ask for a prayer, many of them ask for advice. That’s why, when I return, I take with me pictures drawn by children, and this, sometimes, is more warming for the soldiers than a sleeping bag. But still when night falls, warm clothes are really needed.

- Thank you for sharing. Let’s move to our next topic – sounds. What sounds is Faith associated with? How does it sound, in your opinion?

Sounds… we always think that it should be bells, right?

- Or a prayer… In general, I thought it might be silence or a quiet “thank you” word. But I would rather not impose my vision on you, it’s your idea that is interesting.

- I believe… it’s a heartbeat. We can accompany it with any sound, but when we say “sound”, our Lord lives in silence. He likes silence. Although we read in the book of Genesis that there was chaos, and in chaos everything was created, but still He was wandering in the cool of the day and the only thing which was heard was wisssper…

We should ask ourselves what Faith is. And then we will understand. But to feel the Lord through this faith, one should do it with the open heart.

Not through a temple, not by ringing a bell. These are additional elements. Not by trumpets, drums, cymbals, but with your heart. And the heart hears not only when it loves, but even when it absorbs revenge or ferocity. The heart feels when God is present there, then it is filled with the silence which breaks obscurity into pieces. It is my perception. The sound of Faith is a heartbeat. It is life. When a man is alive, when a man listens to his/her heart, he/she preserves his/her faith. I mean trust in God. I think you ask about faith in God. And when we address the heart, we will feel whether we believe really or we are just adjusting.

Therefore, many people who are freed from captivity or returning from the line of separation, who have been in combats, they say: “I will undergo the maintenance, meaning will be cured, and I will return there, I will return to further stand up to defend the country!”

- As the saying goes, “at the call of the heart”, right?

- Exactly. As they have not longing for revenge, they have realized their need, that they really have God their kind heart. And as our Skovoroda* says, our heart is so deep that in this silence, one can find the way with faith from victory to calm and peace. And it is somewhat harder, it requires reflections. It means depth. So, it resonates like heartbeat sounds. The sound of Faith is a heartbeat… To me, this is notbirds twitting, and joy of children is life, but heartbeat – when I hear it – means I know that I am alive, I know that I am alive because I believe, and I believe because I am alive. And all of it creates a wonderful sound, and push me away.
