"For 462 days, the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against our country continues. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, units of the defense forces repelled 16 enemy attacks.
During the day, the enemy carried out 2 rocket and 22 air strikes, carried out about 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. The probability of launching missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains stable, no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected. In the Siversk and Slobozhansk areas, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. He carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Halahanivka in the Chernihiv region, Seredyna-Buda, Fotovizh, Hirky, Atynske in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Hoptivka, Liptsi, Strelecha, Zelene, Ternova, Staritsa, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Pletenivka, Vovchanski Khutory, Ohirtseve, Mala Vovcha, Varvarivka, Chuhunivka, Ambarne, Hryhorivka in Kharkiv region
During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensives west of Masiutivka in the Kharkiv region and in the directions of Novoselyvskyi and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. Airstrikes in Kislivka and Kotlyarivka districts of Kharkiv region. Krasne Pershe, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Kislivka, Berestov in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka. He carried out airstrikes in Terni and Siversk districts of Donetsk region. Nevske, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Novosadove, Torske, Spirne of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the direction of Bakhmut during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Orihovo-Vasylivka and Bila Hora. Kramatorsk, Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechine, Bila Hora, Diliivka, Zalizne and New York of the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Avdiivka direction. He carried out an airstrike in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region. He carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Novokalynove, Orlivka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Severne, Netaylove, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Mariinka. In the same place, the enemy launched an air strike, Kurakhove, Maksimilyanivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Elizavetivka, Katerynivka, Kostyantynivka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the area of Vuhledar, Prechystivka. He shelled the settlements of Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarsk, and Velyka Novosilka.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Shelled settlements bordering the contact line, including: Vremivka, Vilne Pole, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Temyrivka of the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka and Stepove Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region; Beryslav, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Shiroka Balka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
Aviation of the defense forces during the day made 9 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the enemy. Our defenders destroyed 2 enemy reconnaissance UAVs. During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit 1 control post, 1 artillery unit in a firing position, 2 ammunition depots and 2 electronic warfare stations," the General Staff said in the information.
