Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba responded to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s statement that a Ukrainian counteroffensive cannot be allowed.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to European Pravda.

Kuleba emphasized that Ukraine, more than anyone else in the world, seeks the fastest possible restoration of peace, "but a just peace, a peace that will primarily involve the restoration of territorial integrity."

"Therefore, when someone starts saying: there is no need for a counteroffensive, let's negotiate, then if you are so smart, you will convince Putin to withdraw the troops from Ukraine, and then there will be no counteroffensive," he noted.

Kuleba criticized efforts to "constantly approach the solution of problems through the prism of the fact that Ukraine has to give up something in order for there to be a solution."

"This is a perverted logic, a sick logic that completely failed in the period from 2014 to 2022. If you want to help, use your connections and contacts and convince Putin to leave Ukraine," he concluded.

Also remind, earlier the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, said that the country's authorities "consider it necessary to prevent a counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army.
