During week, Russian army lost more than 1800 people in Kupiansk direction, - Ground Forces
During the week in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy suffered losses of 1826 soldiers. Also, 200 units of equipment were destroyed.
This was announced on the air of the telethon by the head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Fito, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"In total, during the week in the Kupiansk direction, from November 1 to 6, the enemy suffered losses in the amount of 1826 soldiers. Also, 200 units of equipment were destroyed, including 22 tanks and 54 armored fighting vehicles," Fito said.
He said that over the past day in the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 112 servicemen of the Russian occupation forces and destroyed 48 units of equipment, including two tanks, as well as eight armored combat vehicles.
In addition, according to him, over the past day, the enemy launched 703 attacks and 13 airstrikes on the positions of the Ukrainian military. The enemy also attacked Ukrainian positions with nine kamikaze drones.
In total, nine combat clashes took place in this direction over the past day.
