Enemy is trying to break through in area of Semenivka in Avdiivka sector: Situation is difficult - Zhorin
The Russian invaders are trying to break through to Semenivka, located west of Avdiivka, but are currently failing.
According to Censor.NET, this was announced by the deputy commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, during a telethon.
He noted that the Russians have the ability to replace with new and fresh units. Despite this, the Defence Forces managed to make the Russians lose their offensive potential.
"But this ability to use their own resources - the ability to have their own resources, personnel and equipment - creates conditions under which the enemy still manages to make attempts and efforts to move forward, mainly in the area of Semenivka," Zhorin said.
According to him, the Russian invaders suffered heavy losses in Orlivka.
"Orlivka cost them several units. Now they are obviously concentrating their attention in the area of Semenivka. They are trying to break in there, trying to find a weak spot in our defence, but so far they have not been successful. They also keep trying to storm Berdychi every day," said Zhorin.
