Four children remain in Avdiivka, two of them are known to be missing. Police persuade parents to evacuate them - Military Administration

As of April 8, four children remained in Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
This was announced by the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration Vitaliy Barabash on the air of the national telethon, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Hordon.
According to the official, two children have been located and are to be evacuated. The search for two more continues.
"I am sure that in the coming days we will evacuate everyone and there will be no children left in the city," he said.
Barabash noted that after the death of a five-month-old child in the shelling on March 31, eight children remained in the city. Four of them have already been evacuated.
"A decision has been made to evacuate 20 communities in Donetsk region. A local commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies was held yesterday, and starting Monday, Avdiivka will also be subject to forced evacuation," he said.
So far, the evacuation group of the National Police White Angels has already found two children - two-year-old Yehor and his older sister, a sixth-grader. The police are persuading the family to evacuate, the Donetsk regional police reported.
Despite the daily shelling, their parents prefer to stay at home. The police explained to the adults their rights and responsibilities in relation to children and the mechanism of mandatory evacuation. The family was given time to pack and informed that the authorities would provide them with everything they needed.
The National Police emphasizes that the evacuation of a child from a "hot spot" begins with a search. In the practice of Avdiivka police, there was a case when a family persuaded residents of an entire street to provide false information - as if they and their child had already left.
At the second stage, the police persuade the adults to leave and explain that no one will separate them from their child, as minors are evacuated only with their relatives or one of them. The rescue operation is completed when the family is taken to a safe place and assistance is organized for them.
On March 7, it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine had agreed on a mechanism for the forced evacuation of children from places where active hostilities are taking place. It is planned that the forced evacuation of children "will be carried out accompanied by one of the parents, a person in loco parentis, or another legal representative" after a decision of the regional military administration, agreed with the military command and coordination headquarters.
