Currently, 14 SMB, which is based in the city of Volodymyr, is staffed. Some of the soldiers of various specialties of the brigade have already completed training on mastering Western models of equipment, some are still undergoing training abroad.
This was stated by the commander of the brigade, Colonel Oleksandr Okhrimenko, in the commentary "Suspilne Lutsk", Censor.NET informs.
According to him, the brigade has been on the front line since the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Regarding the use of Western models of equipment, the commander noted: "There is equipment that has been delivered, and we perform tasks on this combat equipment."
Commenting on the nature of the fighting on the front, Okhrimenko reports: now the line is static... with a temporary change of this line in our favor. We do not carry out large-scale offensive actions, there is a need to regroup, restore forces, resupply in order to fulfill the task of liberating temporarily occupied territories in the near future. Now the line is more static, the task is to strike at the enemy, destroy his equipment, prevent his advance."
"Our Armed Forces are two heads higher (than the occupiers. - Ed.) in terms of training, professionalism, and motivation," Okhrimenko informs.
