In Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk region, enemy reduced intensity of shelling of positions of AFU, - Defense Forces
During this week, the Russians shelled the positions of the AFU in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk directions 1,844 times. This is three times less than in February this year.
This was stated on the air of the telethon by the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction, Colonel Oleksii Dmytrashkivsky, Censor.NET reports.
"The pace of the Russian military has decreased somewhat compared to February. They have decreased by a third. This week alone, the enemy fired at our positions in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk directions 1,844 times - this is three times less compared to February. The most dangerous direction is the Avdiivka and Mariinka directions," he noted.
According to Dmytrashkivsky, due to the fear of a counteroffensive, the Russians are building fortifications and actively mining the territories.
"What's more, I don't even know if maps of minefields are drawn up so that they can be demined later," he added.
