Leak of classified data will not affect support for Ukraine - State Department

The leak of Pentagon documents on the situation in Ukraine, including those with classification marks, will not prevent the United States from continuing to provide the Ukrainian side with all kinds of necessary assistance.

This was stated by Deputy Spokesperson for the US State Department Vedant Patel, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.

"We will continue to provide support to Ukraine amid Russia's brutal aggression for as long as it takes," the State Department spokesman said in response to a request for comment on how the leak of classified data could affect ongoing operations in Ukraine.

He also emphasized that the Ukrainian leadership makes decisions on planning and conducting military operations independently.
