Next meeting in "Ramstein" format will take place on April 21, - US Air Force
The next meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine will be held at the Ramstein Air Base on April 21.
This was announced by the US Air Force in Europe, Censor.NET reports with reference to "Radio Liberty".
"US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III plans to lead a personal meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, on April 21, 2023," the message reads.
It also said that Austin is again inviting defense ministers and top military officials from around the world to discuss "the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the various security challenges facing US allies and partners."
The previous meeting in the Rammstein format took place on March 15, 2023 via video link. At that time, Oleksiy Reznikov stated that the 10th Ramstein inspires optimism: the strengthening of air defense, the supply of ammunition, training and the formation of an "armored fist".
At the end of the meeting, United States Defense Minister Lloyd Austin spoke about the "new commitments" of the countries participating in the Ramstein meeting and that the countries have once again confirmed their unity in supporting Ukraine's struggle for freedom.
