Large-scale Anakonda-23 military exercises began in Poland

On Monday, April 17, preparations for one of the largest military exercises Anakonda-23 begin in Poland.
As Censor.NET informs, this was announced by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak, "Euro Integration" reports.
According to him, almost 13,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Poland and NATO member countries and partners of the Alliance will take part in the exercises.
"In the east and north of Poland, the preparation and redeployment of troops for the active part of Anakonda-23 - the ninth largest cyclic exercise with the participation of almost thirteen thousand servicemen of the Polish army, as well as the armies of the member countries and partners of the Alliance - has begun," Blaszczak wrote.
Exercise Anakonda is the largest exercise of the Armed Forces of Poland, during which the ability of key command bodies of the Polish Army to cooperate with the system and selected elements of NATO command structures is tested. The goal of the exercise is to integrate national command structures and allied forces within the framework of achieving the ability to conduct a strategic defense operation under conditions of conventional and hybrid threats.
It will be reminded that today in Sweden, the biggest military exercise "Aurora 23" in the last 25 years also started.
