Iranian courts regarding downing of UIA plane are fictitious, - International investigative group

The International Coordination Group for the Victims of Flight PS752 does not consider the legal proceedings in Iran to be fair and transparent.
This is stated in a statement published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
"The sham trials that took place in Tehran should not distract the world from Iran's failure to fulfill its international obligations and its avoidance of responsibility for its actions. Neither the trials nor the verdicts announced this week have brought truth or justice to the families of the victims The entire process, starting with Iran's investigation into the circumstances of the downing, was not impartial and transparent," she said.
It also emphasized that the families of 176 innocent victims are still waiting for the justice they deserve. The group expressed its solidarity with the families and loved ones of the victims of the downing of flight PS752 and promised to do everything necessary until justice is served.
On April 16, Iran reportedly sentenced 10 military personnel to prison for their involvement in the 2020 downing of a Ukrainian airliner that killed 176 people.
