This was reported by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Serhii Cherevaty, Censor.NET informs with reference to ArmiaInform.
"In the area of responsibility of the Eastern group of troops, the heaviest battles continue for the city of Bakhmut. At the same time, our defenders repelled the enemy's offensive in the direction of the settlement of Stupochky. Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, Toretsk and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling," said the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the past 24 hours, 34 combat clashes took place, the enemy carried out two missile and 21 air strikes, a kamikaze drone attack, the enemy carried out 539 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops. At the same time, our troops struck back with powerful blows.
"Over a day, the forces of the Eastern Group destroyed 147 invaders, 232 were wounded, and one invader was captured," Cherevaty added.
