Six Leopard 2A4 tanks handed over by Spain are already on their way to Ukraine, - Ministry of Defense

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles reported that 6 Leopard 2 tanks are already on their way to Ukraine.

She told journalists about this, Censor.NET informs with reference to CNN.

According to the minister, the tanks left the port city of Santander "along with 20 heavy vehicles."

"In six days, in transit through another country, they will be in Ukraine," said Robles.

Last week, it said that four more Leopard tanks, in addition to the six, would be sent to Ukraine "as soon as possible" after repairs.

It is also noted that 55 Ukrainian servicemen were trained to work on Leopard 2 main battle tanks in Spain.
