In Zaporizhzhia region, enemy is mining territories and erecting fortifications, - Defense Forces
In anticipation of a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders are erecting fortifications, installing anti-tank weapons, and mining the territories in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
Oleksii Dmytrashkivsky, the head of the joint press center of the defense forces of the Tavria direction, stated this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the nature of the enemy's actions has not changed. The enemy is expecting a counteroffensive and continues to build fortifications, install anti-tank weapons, and mine the territories," said Dmytrashkivsky.
In addition, he noted that the Russians are continuing offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction, and are conducting active defense in the Novopavlivka and Orihiv directions.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy concentrated its main efforts on the Avdiivka direction.
Dmytrashkivsky also reported that the enemy was conducting assault operations with the goal of capturing the strongholds of the first echelon. It happened in the Novokalynove, Pervomaiske, Mariinka area.
