Sappers in south demined 170 hectares of agricultural land in week - OC "South"
Over the past week, sappers managed to demine 170 hectares of agricultural land in the south.
The speaker of OC "South" Vladyslav Nazarov stated this on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, more than 60 hectares of agricultural land and more than 4,000 m2 of buildings were cleared in the Kherson region. In addition, about 320 explosive objects were neutralized and destroyed.
"In the Mykolayiv region, more than 110 hectares of agricultural land, more than 630 explosive objects have been neutralized and destroyed. In general, the following have been cleared of explosive objects by sappers of the Support Forces: 3,140,535 hectares of agricultural land, 21,33 hectares of forest massifs, 199,909 km of power lines, 40 km of gas pipelines, 207,924 km of roads, 332,059 m2 of buildings, 49,439 explosive objects were neutralized and destroyed," the message said.
Nazarov reminded that if you come across a suspicious object, you should immediately report it to the nearest police station or contact local self-government bodies or the emergency department by calling 101 and 102. It is forbidden to move or dispose of suspicious objects on your own.
It will be reminded that according to the intelligence of Great Britain, it will take at least a decade for Ukraine to be completely demined.
