A group of enemy aircraft is moving towards the southern regions of Ukraine, so it is possible to use air bombs guided by Russia again.
Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the nationwide telethon "Yedini Novyni", Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"This is not some new invention. It is something that can be used due to the fact that they do not have enough missile weapons, powerful weapons. That is why they began to modernize and use these bombs without entering the zone of damage of our air defense. As they say, it's impunity to attack zones up to 70 km radius. This is, after all, happening right now as we speak. A group of aircraft on a southerly course is moving towards the southern regions, so there may be applications for those as well. Unfortunately, this challenge is serious now, because the bomb is 500 kg," Ihnat said.
He noted that Russia began to actively use the tactics of dropping guided air bombs from Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft throughout the demarcation area. "The enemy is hitting our cities, in the front-line zone, it is difficult to get him, but we will strengthen, receiving new forces in order to counter," added the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
