AFU repulsed about 60 enemy attacks in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariika areas, - General Staff
Russian troops continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions. The fiercest battles continue for Bakhmut and Mariinka.

Thus, the four hundred and twenty-fifth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country has begun.
The Russian Federation continues to ignore International Humanitarian Law, terrorizing civilians and destroying residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
During the past day, the enemy launched 1 missile and 46 air strikes. He carried out about 60 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Actively uses aviation, using winged aerial bombs in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. As a result, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, destroyed and damaged private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions - about 60 enemy attacks were repulsed. The fiercest battles continue for Bakhmut and Mariinka.
The operational situation remains stable in the Volyn and Polissia directions. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy continues to keep a certain number of his troops in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine. During the past 24 hours, the population centers of Hremiach, Chernihiv region, were shelled; Chervona Zoria, Pavlivka, Kindrativka, Tymofiivka in the Sumy region, as well as Hoptivka, Zelene, Neskuchne, Budarky, Milove, and Krasne Pershe in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Masiutivka, Lyman Pershy, Kyslivka, and Berestov of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery fire; Novoselivske in the Luhansk region; Torske and Spirne of the Donetsk region.
The enemy did not carry out any offensive operations in the Lymansky direction that day. Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Torske, Dibrova, Verkhnokamianske, and Spirne of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Heavy fighting continues for the city of Bakhmut. Also, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions on the outskirts of the Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, and Ivanivske settlements. Vasiukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Novodmytrivka, Kostiantynivka, and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the Novokalynovo and Pervomaiske regions of the Donetsk region, without success, and suffered heavy losses. Shelled, in particular, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Tonenke, Lastochkyne, Pervomayske, Karlivka, and Nevelske.
In the Mariinka direction, during the day, our defenders repelled numerous enemy attacks in the northern and central parts of the Mariinka settlement, as well as in the Novomykhailivka area of the Donetsk region. At the same time, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Paraskoviivka of the Donetsk region came under enemy shelling.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Shakhtarsk direction. Fired Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Prechystivka, and Velyka Novosilka of the Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. At the same time, during the day, it shelled more than 40 settlements. Among them are Vremivka, Novosilka, Novopil of the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Chervone, Charivne, Orihiv of the Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region; Tomarine, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Sadove, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. About 25 residential buildings were damaged. There are wounded among civilians.
Aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 14 strikes in areas where the occupiers were concentrated during the past 24 hours. Also, 2 enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the "Merlin" type and 1 - "Orlan-10", as well as 8 kamikaze drones of the "Lancet" type were shot down.
Units of missile troops and artillery hit 3 radio-electronic warfare stations of the enemy.
