Russian occupiers near Mariinka changed tactics of using aviation and drones, increased artillery shelling, - Defense Forces
In the Donetsk direction, the invaders are increasing the power of artillery strikes. The Russians also changed their tactics in the air.
Oleksiy Dmytrashkovsky, spokesman for the Defense Forces of the Tavria Region, announced this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informswith reference to LIga.Novyny.
"They are shelling our positions in the same way as it was in February," said Dmytrashkovsky.
During the day, the Russians attacked the positions of the Ukrainian troops with artillery systems almost 500 times, stormed the Mariinka area 22 times.
There was also a change in tactics in the air. Previously, the enemy planes acted mostly alone, but yesterday they worked as a team - two Russian planes tried to lure the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the third plane struck.
"Yesterday, the occupiers used twice as many reconnaissance drones in the Donetsk direction. Kamikaze drones were used for the first time - first there were Shaheds, they were shot down, but after them Lancets appeared. This is also a new tactic," said Dmytrashkovsky.
At the same time, according to the speaker of the Armed Forces, the morale and psychological state of the Russian troops at the frontline has deteriorated, they do not want to go on the attack.
