Ukrainian Armed Forces withdraw in one of frontline areas of Donetsk region - Naiev

The Defence Forces have decided to withdraw their forces and equipment from unfavourable positions in one of the frontline areas in Donetsk region.
This was announced by the commander of the "Velyka Novosilka" tactical group, Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, Censor.NET reports.
"The most important thing for the command is to save the lives and health of the personnel. Therefore, in one of the frontline areas, a decision was made to withdraw forces and equipment from unfavourable positions. This made it possible not only to save our soldiers but also to improve our defence. The enemy is suffering losses and we are able to act more effectively," he said.
Naiev said that over the past month, thanks to the joint work of scouts, drone operators, artillery, mortar, tank and infantry, more than 30 units of enemy armoured vehicles and more than 2,000 occupiers were destroyed.
"This significantly reduced the number of enemy attacks in our sector," the general added.
