68 combat engagements took place along front line, enemy remains highly active in Pokrovsk direction – General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 68 combat engagements have taken place along front line.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
The enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation fired artillery shells near the settlements of Kucherivka, Myropilske, and Luhivka in the Sumy region; Mykhailivske in the Chernihiv region. The settlements of Petrushivka, Turia, Uhroidy, Stepok and Krasnopillia in the Sumy region were attacked by air with guided bombs.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried once to attack the positions of the Defense Forces near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy twice tried to advance to our positions in the areas of Pishchane and Kruhliakivka during the day. The defense forces successfully repelled the enemy attacks.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, 12 combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Kopanky, Novomykhailivka, Nove, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Torske and Ivanivka. Four firefights are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the vicinity of Bilohorivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Andriivka and in the direction of Predtechyne. Our defenders repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders attacked 13 times in the areas of Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
High enemy activity is still observed in the Pokrovsk direction. Fifteen times during the day, the enemy tried to advance to our positions near Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka and Andriivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing. The enemy also launched air strikes near Pokrovsk.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the aggressor attacked five times in the areas of Kostiantynopil and Dniproenerhiia. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack in the area of Novosilka. The enemy launched air strikes on the settlements of Shevchenko, Novodarivka, Novopil and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions, however, it conducted air strikes in the areas of Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy tried unsuccessfully to attack the positions of our troops once.
AFU operation in Kursk region of the RF
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack by the invaders, and 13 combat engagements have been recorded so far. The enemy launched 7 air strikes, dropping 8 guided bombs on settlements and positions of the Defense Forces. In addition, it carried out 155 artillery attacks, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
