There were 156 combat clashes at front, most of them in Pokrovsk and Kursk directions - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 04:00 p.m., the total number of combat engagements along the entire front line is 156.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the North
Bachivsk, Petrushivka, Kucherivka, Velyka Pysarivka, Luhivka, Ryasne, and Fotovizh came under enemy artillery fire, and the areas of Turia, Krasnopillia, Uhrody, Mykhailivske, and Prokhody were subjected to enemy air strikes.
Combat actions in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, there were two assault attacks by militants towards Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy tried three times to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Holubivka and Zahryzove, and one battle is ongoing.
Hostilities in the Donetsk region
In the Lyman sector, the aggressor attacked five times in the vicinity of Kopanky, Yampolivka, in the direction of Nove and Novomykhailivka. One firefight is currently underway.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy conducted seven offensives near the localities of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske and Ivan-Dariivka. Four firefights are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Predtechyno, and Bila Hora, and another attack is ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops' positions 15 times in the areas of Toretsk, Dachne, Krymske, and Diliyivka. Two firefights are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy attacked our troops' positions 53 times in the areas of Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Vidrodzhennia, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoserhiivka, and Preobrazhenka; seven of the engagements are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka sector, our defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Skudne, and Vesele; five more attacks are still ongoing.
Combat actions in the South
In the Huliaipillia sector, the enemy conducted 15 assault operations in the areas of Rivne, Novosilka, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole, and Novopil. Five firefights are currently underway.
In the Orikhiv sector, the Defense Forces successfully stopped seven enemy attacks. The enemy tried to advance in the vicinity of Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, Lobkove, and Shcherbaki, and one firefight is ongoing.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped one enemy attack.
Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation
Today, 19 combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector, two of them are ongoing. In addition, the enemy conducted seven air strikes, dropped nine drones, and fired 186 artillery rounds, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.
