President of Ukraine and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has inspected strongholds of the front line and spoke with soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain-Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Head of State addressed the military who want to continue to defend Ukraine, and invited them to continue service under contract. "Ukainian army needs you with your experience and fighting spirit today. We need volunteers who contracted consciously and performed brilliantly in the fighting in the area of anti-terrorist operation. Ukrainian army is waiting for you," he said.
The President visited the positions of the 128th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called "Bridge Republic" - a passage to the village of Pisky (Donetsk area).

Commander of the 128th Infantry Brigade, Hero of Ukraine Serhii Shaptala reported to the President on the operational situation in the area of the brigade's service. "The morale of the units is high; the supply is good; and the level of discipline is also high," he said.
The President presented state awards to the servicemen and volunteers. Supreme Commander also held a meeting with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko and Defence Minister Stepan Poltorak.
