Ozon’s logistics centres in Adygea, Nevinnomyssk and Dagestan were attacked by drones. VIDEO+PHOTO
On the night of 24 August, drones attacked logistics centres belonging to the Russian marketplace Ozon in the Stavropol Krai, Adygea and Dagestan. Fires broke out at the sites.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing Russian Telegram channels and OSINT communities.
Ozon subsequently confirmed the damage to its logistics centres.
A fire broke out at the facility near Enem
Drones attacked a logistics centre belonging to the Russian marketplace Ozon near the village of Enem in Adygea. The facility sustained significant damage, and a large-scale fire broke out following the attack.
According to OSINT analysts, the facility in question is the Ozon logistics centre "KRASNODAR_2_RFC", which is located not in Krasnodar, as the company initially reported, but in Adygea – near Enem.
The exact address of the facility is the village of Druzhny, Industrial Park, Takhtamukaysky District. The logistics centre covers an area of approximately 91,200 square metres.
The facility is situated approximately 390 kilometres from the border with Ukraine.
Local residents reported an attack on the Ozon warehouse in the Enem area and a fire at the site.
Subsequently, Ozon’s press office stated that its logistics centre in Krasnodar was ablaze as a result of the attack. According to the company, all staff had been evacuated.
However, local residents and readers of the Russian Telegram channel Astra clarified that the facility in question is the ‘KRASNODAR_2_RFC’ warehouse, which is actually situated in Adygea, near Enem.
A large warehouse is on fire in the Stavropol Krai
Another Ozon logistics centre was attacked in Nevinnomyssk in the Stavropol Krai.
Local residents reported explosions during the night. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov stated that Russian air defence forces were repelling a drone attack targeting the city’s industrial zone.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Astra, footage from eyewitnesses has confirmed that the targeted facility is an Ozon warehouse on Priozernaya Street.
This is a regional fulfilment centre covering an area of over 93,500 square metres. It is used to store and sort goods, pick orders and dispatch them to customers.
An attack on a large complex has been reported in Dagestan
Social media reports also indicate that the Ozon logistics complex in Dagestan, located in the ‘Tyube’ industrial park, has been hit.
The complex covers an area of around 130,000 square metres. A large-scale fire broke out on the premises following the attack.
The complex is one of Ozon’s key logistics hubs in the North Caucasus. It is also used for deliveries to Azerbaijan and Iran.
The facility is of significant logistical importance to Ozon in the North Caucasus: it is designed to handle substantial volumes of goods and orders and is one of the key hubs in the company’s logistics network in the region.
At the same time, the complex was also important for international logistics and was regarded as a regional hub for the development of deliveries to Azerbaijan and Iran within the ‘North–South’ international transport corridor.
Other attacks on the Russian Federation
In addition, a warehouse complex for building materials belonging to the company ‘CMM-K’ was targeted in Krasnodar.
In Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Oblast, power cuts occurred following the attack.
In Voskresensk, Moscow Oblast, local residents reported explosions near the ‘Voskresensk Mineral Fertilisers’ (VMU) chemical plant, part of the ‘Uralchem’ Open Joint-Stock Company. The plant’s products are used, in particular, in the manufacture of explosives.
