President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko reminded about the need to preserve Ukrainian traditions and save the country's cultural heritage.

Poroshenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Ancient Ukrainian traditions and Easter rituals united Christians all over Ukraine. Pysanka is one of the religious codes of our country. It plays the same role as an embroidered shirt. I am grateful to everyone who keeps and enriches this tradition!," the president wrote.
