Two sisters aged six and seven orphaned as militants shelled Avdiivka
The girls aged six and seven remained orphans after the town of Avdiivka came under mortar fire.
The head of the National Police in the Donetsk region Viacheslav Abroskin wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports."Avdiivka, May 13, 2017. The parents died, and the children have been orphaned", he wrote.

The first deputy Rada speaker Iryna Herashchenko commented on Facebook.
"Avdiivka... These two little sisters, aged six and seven, had a family yesterday, but became orphans today. Their mother and father were killed by 'orcs,' and their modest small house was destroyed. The children miraculously survived. The parents were murdered from Russian weaponry in front of the children," she wrote.

The case of the shelling was included in the Unified Register of pretrial investigations under article 258 part 3 (terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the press-secretary of the Prosecutor General 's Office of Ukraine Larysa Sarhan wrote on Facebook.

Yesterday, the militants shelled residential areas of Avdiivka. A shell hit a courtyard of a private house. As a result of the attack, three women and one man were killed.
