On Easter night, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl were killed as a result of a massive rocket attack on Snihurivka. Proceedings have been initiated.

Under the procedural leadership of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on April 16, 2023, at 2:10 a.m., the Russian army attacked the city of Snihurivka, Mykolayiv region, with rockets.
Enemy shells hit residential buildings and civil infrastructure objects.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl died as a result of the shelling. According to preliminary data, the occupiers fired about 10 S-300 missiles at the civilian population of Snihurivka.
Prosecutors, the SSU, and police investigators, criminologists, and explosives technicians of the National Police Department in the region are working at the scene.
