Farewell ceremony for military pilot Voloshyn held in Mykolaiv. VIDEO&PHOTOS

On Wednesday, March 21, about a hundred people came to pay last tribute to military pilot, People's Hero of Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, who shot himself on March 18.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to NikVesti news outlet, about a hundred people including government officials, activists and local residents came to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to say farewell to the hero.

Following the farewell ceremony, the people lined up in a human chain along the way of the funeral convoy and knelt. They also covered the road with flowers.

Voloshyn’s body will be taken for cremation to Odesa after which the ashes will be taken for burial to his homeland in the Luhansk region.
